Why did you join PATA?

We joined PATA to connect with other professionals shaping the future of tourism across the Asia-Pacific region. As the largest B2B travel distributor in China, with over 60% market penetration and the support of Alibaba Group, we felt it was important to be part of a community that fosters meaningful industry dialogue. PATA gives us a platform to stay informed, share ideas, and explore new ways to collaborate with destinations and partners across the region.

How does your organisation align with PATA’s new vision of a meaningful Pacific Asia tourism economy?

Dida’s mission is to simplify and digitise global travel distribution. Every day, we connect over 35,000 B2B clients; travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, to more than 1.5 million travel products worldwide, with a strong focus on Asia-Pacific. Our tech, content, and marketing solutions help destinations grow in a more sustainable and strategic way, by educating agents, improving conversion, and building long-term value beyond short-term volume.

What recent trends or initiatives would you like to share with the PATA network?

Outbound travel from China and Southeast Asia has continued to rebound at pace, and we’ve seen strong momentum across both long-haul and regional destinations. This has translated into growing demand from DMOs for more tailored, performance-based campaigns. In response, we’ve reworked our marketing solutions to deliver more impactful results to our partners, from improved segmentation and curated product showcases to better in-platform visibility. We’re also growing our team and investing in more effective tools, including tactical training and content localisation, to strengthen engagement between DMOs and the right travel agents.
