Your Memories Complete the Picture

A memory crowdsourcing project to rediscover our shared history: Help us organise our time capsule and piece the PATA puzzle!

Over 75 years, with home bases in two distant regions and events held across the globe, PATA has had the privilege of connecting with incredible people and places. Along the way, we've collected many photos as mementoes near and dear to our hearts. But here’s the thing: some of those moments have gone a bit fuzzy. Names, places, dates… lost to time.

That’s where you come in! — We're on a mission to piece together our history, and we need your help.

Let’s get started! What to look forTell us what you know
Take a look at each photo. Some include info or guesses that might help point you in the right direction.Do you recognise any people, places, events, (able to read) handwritten notes, or other details in the image?Fill out the form below with what you found out.
Don't be shy to let us know if our guesses are incorrect.Even the smallest detail is valuable.Don't forget to leave you name and email so we can properly credit you!

Some photos come with partial information (listed above the images), some include our best educated guesses (noted in italics), and others are just total head-scratchers (no information at all!) 🤷‍♂️

While we can’t offer prizes as a not-for-profit, we would be glad to give credit where it’s due. Leave your name in the form so we can properly recognise your contribution to preserving PATA’s legacy!

Photos below are those that we have made our best guesses on (dates & occasions), but we need your help to verify the details or fill in any missing pieces!

Our guess: 1996 Oct 1-2, Outbound Tourism Seminar & Exhibition in India

The event took place in early October, but could Photo #28 have been from a side event on September 30? The interior in Photo #29 and #30 looks like it could be the same venue, which led us to group them together. We also linked Photo #31 to this event as it seems to be from the same batch as #30 and looks like it was taken at an Exhibition.

But is it possible that they are from entirely different events? What do you think, detective? 🕵️

Photo #29:
Clue: The lights and the black strips on the ceiling and the overall colour scheme and style of the door frames match with photo #28.
