Bangkok’s First Rooftop Street Art Competition to Conclude with Award Ceremony at Le Méridien Bangkok

Bangkok, 11 March 2026 - The award ceremony of Street Art Fight, Bangkok’s first rooftop street art competition, will take place on Saturday, 28 March 2026, at Le Méridien Bangkok, celebrating a week of creativity, storytelling, and artistic collaboration.

Running from 21–28 March 2026, Street Art Fight brings together leading Thai street artists for a dynamic creative battle staged high above the streets of Bangkok. Set against the backdrop of the city skyline, the competition transforms a rooftop into an open canvas where artists explore pressing global issues through powerful visual expression.

Street Art Fight uses urban art as a voice to reflect today’s challenges—including sustainability, social transformation, and environmental crises—encouraging artists to interpret these themes through bold and imaginative works.

The initiative is inspired by a metaphorical narrative set in Chromia, the “Land of Color,” where vibrant colors symbolize biodiversity, balance, and hope. As Chromia’s colors begin to fade—representing the real-world impacts of deforestation, pollution, and climate change—an artist named Zack launches a symbolic “Street Art Fight” on a Bangkok rooftop to restore color and awareness.

Featuring some of Thailand’s top street artists, the event transforms urban art into a metaphor for protecting life, creativity, and sustainability. By blending storytelling, contemporary art, and environmental awareness, Street Art Fight aims to empower artists, engage local communities, and highlight Bangkok’s thriving street art scene within a global creative dialogue.

Watch the Bangkok skyline turn into a living canvas as 18 street artists and creative teams create bold works live at Soi Sky 25. Colour, creativity, and urban energy will take over the rooftop as artists bring their visions to life.

The award ceremony evening will also feature live DJ performances, street food and drinks, offering guests the opportunity to experience the city lights from above while enjoying an immersive art and music atmosphere. Visitors are invited to bring friends, meet fellow art lovers, and celebrate Bangkok’s vibrant creative community together.

Organizers believe the initiative will not only serve the community but also provide a meaningful platform for artists to express ideas, inspire audiences, and advocate for a vibrant and sustainable future.
