Hitit Powers IATA’s New-Generation Timatic Web Platform

 
 
 

Istanbul, Turkey, 7 May 2025 - Hitit, after being selected by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to develop and service the next generation of IATA Timatic Web application, has completed the development and gone live with the new Timatic Web platform.

With more than 70 verified changes to travel documentation, regulations and requirements processed every day, the travel industry and their passengers are demanding a complete view of all the information they need to start their trip prepared. With a user-friendly interface and brand-new Ease of Travel Map, a powerful new feature that visually summarizes how easily each nationality can travel to destinations worldwide- Timatic Web is making it easier than ever for airlines and travel organization to provide travellers with real-time updates on passports, visas, and travel restrictions.

Hitit, with its extensive experience in developing airline passenger service systems and other travel solutions serving millions of passengers every year, was chosen by IATA to undertake the development and maintenance of Timatic Web. Under the agreement, Hitit successfully built a cloud-native web application suite for IATA Timatic Web, which is now live and actively in use, and continues to provide ongoing support for the platform.
