We are pleased to inform that PATA Malaysia Chapter (PMC), chaired by YBhg. Datuk Musa Hj. Yusof - Deputy Director General Tourism Malaysia, will be holding its next PATA Malaysia Inter-State Tourism Networking Forum in Alor Star, Kedah from 08 to 11 November 2025.
The event aims at providing a platform for travel trade participants from the PMC membership and other relevant stakeholders to meet and network with the local tourism partners from Kedah (including Langkawi), with the ultimate objective to explore/enhance business opportunities.
As you may be aware, PMC had held similar networking forums in the past annually from 2015, in Sabah, Sarawak, Negeri Sembilan, Langkawi, Johor, Penang, East Coast (Kelantan and Terengganu) and Perlis which had been very successful and provided excellent opportunities for the participants and the respective states to network and foster closer business relationships.
For this year, Kedah (a state of Malaysia in the northwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia) has been selected as the venue for our Tourism Networking Forum, considering its attraction as an eco-tourism and heritage destination.
