Calling the Next Generation of Trailblazers: PATA Face of the Future 2025 Now Accepting Entries
Next-Gen Tourism Professionals Invited to Submit Entries by June 15
BANGKOK, May 8, 2025 – The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is now accepting submissions for the prestigious PATA Face of the Future 2025 award, with the deadline set for June 15, 2025.
Since its launch in 2002, the PATA Face of the Future award has recognised outstanding young professionals in the Asia Pacific region who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and a commitment to sustainable tourism development in line with PATA’s mission. It is the Association’s most prominent honor for rising talent in the travel and tourism industry.
PATA CEO Noor Ahmad Hamid stated, “As an organisation committed to empowering the next generation of visionaries, PATA is thrilled to launch this year’s search for the Face of the Future. We celebrate young leaders who bring bold ideas, creative solutions, and a deep commitment to building a more sustainable future for travel and tourism.”
He added, “We look forward to discovering the next young leader who will inspire their peers and contribute to shaping the future of our industry.”

Full sponsorship to attend and be recognised at PATA Travel Mart 2025 (PTM 2025)
A speaking opportunity at the PATA Youth Symposium

Recognising Past Winners
PATA also takes this opportunity to celebrate the Face of the Future 2024, Jane Park, Assistant Manager – F&B Revenue Management & Operations at Hotel ICON, for her exceptional leadership and dedication to advancing the tourism sector.
In addition, two special recognitions were awarded:
Amine Gabbouj, Coordinator of the IGLTA Foundation, received the Sustainability Initiatives Award
Karnchana Phakpho, Chairperson of the International Tourism and Hospitality Management Programme at Bangkok University, was recognised for her leadership in local and international tourism initiatives
These individuals exemplify the extraordinary contributions that young professionals continue to make across the Asia Pacific tourism landscape.
