SURUGA Marketing & Tourism Bureau
Suruga region, an area in Shizuoka Prefecture where the majestic peaks of the Southern Alps and the deepest bay in Japan are connected by picturesque views and scenery throughout, all with Mt. Fuji as our background.
Suruga is known as the “Tea Country”, where around 40% of all green tea is grown and harvested, and approximately 70% of all green tea throughout Japan is sent to our region for processing and blending.
Our organization is deeply invested in creating a destination ready for community-based tourism, where the emphasis will be placed on experiences and locations where travelers will be able to invest into the local community and their livelihoods directly.
Taiwan Tourism Administration
The Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) is organized into 6 parts: the Planning and Research Division, International Affairs Division, Travel and Training Division, Hotel & Lodging Division, Tourism Site Development Division, Domestic Travel Promotion Division.
The duties of TTA include comprehensive planning and promotion of tourism development policies, as well as the drafting of related regulations, integrated planning and supervision of tourism industry development, planning, construction, and management of national-level scenic areas; planning, training and certification management for tourism talent development; and planning, marketing and promotion of international and regional tourism brand image.
