Dr. Nurgül Boz

Assistant Professor Dr. Nurgül Boz is an academic specializing in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts from Akdeniz University, Türkiye. Since 2021, she has been actively involved in teaching and research, focusing on culinary innovations, consumer behavior, and the impact of social media on gastronomy. In 2022, she joined Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University as a lecturer and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2024. Her research interests include culinary sustainability, food waste reduction, gastronomy education, and digital engagement in food choices. Over the years, she has published in high-impact academic journals and presented her findings at numerous international conferences. She has also participated in Erasmus mobility programs and international research collaborations, strengthening her expertise in sustainable food practices and tourism.
