Rhea Vitto Tabora is an accomplished professional in the hospitality and software solutions industries. With 20+ years of vibrant experience, her journey has taken her across Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Her career is marked by her expertise in public relations, branding, sales, and marketing. She has held important roles such as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Ascott Limited, a leading international serviced residence owner-operator, and Deputy General Director at Vinhomes, the largest commercial real estate developer in Vietnam.
In 2015, Rhea boldly left the corporate world to immerse herself in her passion for travel and writing. Since then, she has dedicated herself to exploring the region, crafting compelling narratives, and producing content advocating sustainable tourism.
Rhea's journalism degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila has equipped her to author hundreds of travel articles for various publications and hotel websites, as well as an inspiring biography.
Her social entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when she co-founded Travel Asia Now in 2019, a digital travel magazine that highlights sustainable hospitality and responsible travel in Asia.
This venture was followed by co-founding Asia Sustainable Travel (AST) in 2022, a media and intelligence company that delivers agenda-setting sustainability and Asia-focused marketing solutions for travel and hospitality brands. She helps organize AST Forums, which bring sustainability discussions to various locations across Asia, with successful forums already held in Manila, Subic Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phuket.
Rhea's passion for sustainable travel has led to her being invited as a speaker and moderator at prominent industry events such as the TravMedia/International Media Marketplace 2023, PHIST 2024 (Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism), and the Hospitality Philippines Conference, where she shares her insights on sustainability.
She also connects sustainability solution providers with hospitality businesses to help drive meaningful change in the industry
