Ebubekir Bişkinler serves as Culture and Promotion Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in China. Throughout his professional career, he has served at the Prime Ministry of Türkiye and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He has expertise in international relations, public diplomacy, international cooperation and tourism.

In his current role, he focuses on promoting Türkiye as a tourism destination in the Chinese market, communicating the country’s rich cultural heritage and diverse tourism offerings to Chinese audiences, and enhancing Türkiye’s visibility in the international tourism sector. His work involves developing partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders in China’s tourism industry, strengthening professional networks and identifying opportunities for mutual promotion and collaboration.

He also contributes to strengthening cultural and tourism relations between Türkiye and China, fostering mutual understanding and encouraging cultural exchange. With a particular interest in the historical and cultural ties between the two countries, he seeks to build on the shared heritage of the Silk Road to promote cultural interaction, strengthen tourism relations and create new opportunities for bilateral cooperation. His areas of interest also include Chinese outbound travel trends, digital destination marketing and innovative approaches to tourism promotion. Through these efforts, he aims to enhance the recognition of Türkiye’s historical heritage, cultural diversity, gastronomy and distinctive travel experiences among Chinese travellers, while supporting stronger and more sustainable cultural and tourism ties between the two countries.
