Suranjith Wewita

Mr. Suranjith Wevita is a Sri Lankan banking professional and tourism-sector entrepreneur with extensive experience in the banking industry and active involvement in tourism development. He has approximately 23 years of service with leading Banks in Sri Lanka, where he gained broad experience across various aspects of banking, including financial services, entrepreneur development and corporate management. In addition to his banking career, Mr. Wewita has been actively engaged in Sri Lanka's tourism industry through professional and sectoral organisations. He served as Secretary of the All Island Tourism Service Providers Association and the Central Province Tourism Services Development Co-operative Society. He has also contributed to tourism-related initiatives through his involvement in the Presidential Task Force on Tourism Development. Furthermore, he had been licensed national and regional tourist guide lecturer, reflecting his practical engagement with tourism services and industry development.
