Judy Torres

Acting Managing Director, Marianas Visitors Authority

Judy C. Torres is Deputy Managing Director of the Marianas Visitors Authority (MVA), the state tourism office of the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) in the western Pacific. Torres is one the longest serving employees of the MVA, beginning her service in 1992 as Research Manager before coming Deputy Managing Director in 2006. She assists in management and direction of all divisions and activities of the office, including implementation of the award-winning Tourism Resumption Investment Plan (TRIP) program in 2021. She is the MVA representative to the PATA Micronesia Chapter, having also served as chapter Treasurer, Secretary, and Public Relations Committee Chair. Since November 2022, she has served as MVA Acting Managing Director.
