Professor Tony Tse

Professor of Practice and Programme Director of Industry Partnerships, School of Hotel & Tourism Management, Hong Kong PolyU 

Professor Tony Tse is Professor of Practice and Programme Director of Industry Partnerships at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he looks after industry relations, consultancy and executive education. His research focuses on China’s outbound tourism and hospitality and tourism education. He has published more than 30 journal articles, book chapters and conference papers, and was closely involved in the development of Hotel ICON, the University’s teaching and research hotel. Prior to academia, Professor Tse served as General Manager of Marketing Communications at the Hong Kong Tourism Board and spent 18 years with Ogilvy & Mather across Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Sydney.
