Campus to Corporate
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – July 11, 2026 – The PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Management, organized an insightful session titled “Campus to Corporate” featuring Mr. Jacob Asha Thomas, Admin Executive – Travel and Events. The session was conducted at the Mini Auditorium, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus, and aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional industry expectations.
The session focused on helping students understand the transition from university life to the corporate environment within the travel, tourism, and events industry. Drawing from his professional experiences, Mr. Jacob Asha Thomas shared practical insights into workplace culture, professional conduct, communication skills, and the competencies required to succeed in a dynamic corporate setting. Participants gained a clearer understanding of how theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom can be effectively applied within industry contexts.
