PATA Thailand Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) Student Chapter Orientation Event 2026

Chiang Rai, Thailand, Date 12th September 2026 – The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) MFU Student Chapter conducted the PATA MFU Student Chapter Orientation 2026. The program was organized to welcome new members, introduce the chapter’s mission and structure, provide opportunities for engagement with faculty advisors and the executive committee, and strengthen teamwork and relationships among members. The orientation included registration, opening remarks, faculty advisor speeches, an introduction to the chapter, executive committee introductions, icebreaking activities, senior sharing, networking activities, an award-giving session, closing remarks, and an official group photo session.

The event began with registration from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, during which participants checked in and received their name tags. This was followed by the official opening and welcome from the MC Team, who introduced the program and provided an overview of the day’s activities. The Faculty Advisors then delivered opening remarks and guidance to the members, emphasizing the importance of active participation, professional development, teamwork, and engagement within the PATA MFU Student Chapter. The Chapter Chairperson subsequently delivered a welcome speech and introduced the PATA MFU Chapter, including its mission and organizational structure. The Executive Committee Introduction followed, during which the Student Chapter Heads introduced the different departments, their roles, and their responsibilities. This session helped members understand the chapter’s organizational structure and provided clearer expectations for their participation in future activities. All participants took part in icebreaking activities designed to encourage communication, collaboration, and teamwork. The activities provided members with an opportunity to become familiar with one another and develop a friendly and supportive atmosphere within the chapter.
