PATA Travel Mart 2025 as Event Volunteers
Bangkok, Thailand, 26–28 August 2025 – Members of the PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter actively participated in PATA Travel Mart 2025 (PTM 2025) held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. The chapter supported the event by serving as Guest Welcoming and Registration Assistants, contributing to the smooth operation of one of the Asia Pacific region’s leading travel trade events.
Event Description
PATA Travel Mart 2025 is a flagship B2B travel trade event organized by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), bringing together tourism professionals, destinations, and industry stakeholders from across the globe. The event featured a Knowledge Forum, business appointment sessions, and extensive networking opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration and sustainable growth within the tourism industry.
During the three-day event, members of the PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter were divided into two main operational roles. The Guest Welcoming team was responsible for greeting international delegates, providing directions, assisting with venue navigation, and ensuring a warm and professional first impression for attendees. This role allowed students to engage directly with global tourism professionals and develop strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Meanwhile, the Registration Assistance team supported the event’s front-line operations by managing delegate(buyer/seller) check-ins, verifying registration details, distributing badges and materials, and assisting participants with on-site registration systems. Through this role, our students gained hands-on experience in event management processes, attention to detail, and teamwork under a fast-paced environment.
Beyond operational responsibilities, chapter members were also exposed to industry insights by observing business meetings, networking sessions, and discussions on current tourism trends, innovation, and sustainability within the Asia Pacific region.Event Photos
