Dileep Mudadeniya

Senior Vice President Global Alliances & Partnerships, Leisure and Head of Corporate Affairs, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts

With over two decades of leadership experience in the tourism industry, Dileep Mudadeniya has established himself as a prominent figure in strategic planning, marketing, and communication. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Alliances and Partnerships at John Keells Leisure, as well as the Head of Corporate Affairs at John Keells Holdings PLC, he brings a wealth of expertise to his roles. He also serves as the chairman of national tourism advisory committee, member of the Steering Committee on Tourism - a Subcommittee of the Presidential Task Force on Tourism and a board member of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

Dileep's career highlights include his instrumental role in effectively positioning and enhancing the brand equity of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. He is known for spearheading multi-faceted communications campaigns and signature events that not only elevate the visibility of Cinnamon but also promote Sri Lanka as a premier travel destination on a global scale.

Prior to his current roles, Dileep served in various capacities within the public sector, notably as additional director general of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority and the first managing director of Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau.

Dileep is an alumnus of the University of Colombo, an Attorney-at-Law, and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a Chartered Marketer, and also holds a MBA in Marketing.
