Expo visit: SITE 2025 – Unlock The Future of Tourism
Shenzhen, China, 15 November 2025 - The PATA Hong Kong SHTM Student Chapter also organizes an Expo visit to the SITE (Shenzhen International Tourism Industry Expo).
Highlights of the Events:
Enterprise-Student Matching Event
We worked closely with the Expo organizers, injecting fresh momentum into university– industry collaborative education. At the event, representative Lessing delivered remarks and presented a certificate of appreciation to the Shenzhen International Tourism Industry Expo, expressing gratitude for the valuable field-visit opportunities and exemplary service standards it provided.
SITE Sharing Session:
Ms. Nancy Feng, General Director of the Shenzhen International Tourism Industry Expo, held a dedicated exchange session with us. During the session, Ms. Feng gave a detailed overview of the Expo’s development, its industry influence, and plans, and addressed our suggestions and questions. She focused on trends in the culture-and- tourism sector and directions in talent demand and engaged students in interactive discussions on topics such as market preferences and industry practice.
Through this bridge between campus and industry, we gained a clearer understanding of the sector’s expectations for multidisciplinary talent and felt the vibrant momentum of Shenzhen’s culture and tourism industry.

Our Student Chapter is currently the only PATA Student Chapter in Hong Kong. We aim at connecting our student members with the latest trends in tourism and hospitality, as well as preparing them to face the industry’s challenges, and to building a strong career after graduation.
