A Night at the Races: Immersive Visit to the Happy Valley Racecourse

Hong Kong SAR, 22nd April 2026 - The PATA Hong Kong SHTM Student Chapter organised an immersive visit to the Happy Valley Racecourse, an iconic venue celebrated for its vibrant night racing atmosphere and world-class guest experiences.

 
 

Highlights of the Events:
During the visit, Mr. Eric Chow shared valuable insights into the operations and management of the racecourse, highlighting how large-scale events are coordinated to deliver seamless guest experiences. Members gained a deeper understanding of event planning, crowd management, hospitality services, and the integration of sports, entertainment, and tourism. 

Through on-site observation and interactive discussions, participants were able to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world practice. The experience broadened their industry perspective and reinforced the Chapter’s commitment to bridging academic learning with professional exposure in alignment with PATA’s mission.
