Student Talk Series on My Most Memorable Travel Experience
Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 12th December 2025 – PATA Malaysia Taylor's Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) held the December edition of its Student Talk Series on 12th December 2025 via Zoom. Themed "My Most Memorable Travel Experience," the session brought together three student speakers and 30 attendees for peer to peer sharing on memorable journeys across Asia and Europe.
The Student Talk Series is a recurring initiative by PATA MTSC that gives members a platform to share knowledge about tourism, travel, and culture. The December session was held online via Zoom from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and was emceed by Assistant Head of Recruitment Zaara Ibrahim Nihad. Three PATA MTSC members presented on their most memorable travel experiences, each followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
Maria Belicia, Head of Marketing, presented on her unforgettable summer in Japan, taking the audience through the Kansai region with stops in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, and sharing local food, cultural sites, and personal highlights from each city.
Noreen Aretha shared her experience in Switzerland, focusing on the natural beauty of the Swiss Alps and her visit to Jungfraujoch, known as the Top of Europe, alongside Swiss food culture and the country's distinctive alpine landscapes.
Safa Abdul Latheef presented on tropical Thailand, sharing her trip to Phuket and Kahung Beach, where she experienced island hopping and visited iconic limestone formations featured in the film The Man with the Golden Gun.
The session was attended by 30 students via Zoom. By inviting members to share personal travel memories, the Student Talk Series creates space for peer to peer learning that complements formal tourism education. The event highlighted how travel encourages cultural appreciation and inspires students to explore destinations through new perspectives, reflecting the chapter's commitment to SDG 4 on Quality Education.
PATA MTSC thanks Maria Belicia, Noreen Aretha, and Safa Abdul Latheef for their presentations, and Zaara Ibrahim Nihad for emceeing the session. The chapter looks forward to continuing the Student Talk Series in the coming months with more knowledge sharing from its diverse membership.
