PATA Youth: What? Why?
The PATA Youth Programme aims to empower young individuals aspiring to amplify their voices within travel and tourism through diverse platforms, ranging from the Youth Symposium, and webinars, to networking sessions and mentorship sessions.
The programme allows young talents to engage with industry leaders and peers, share their ideas and insights, and learn about the latest trends in the industry.

PATA Youth Symposium (PYS)
The Symposia are organised alongside PATA flagship events to engage young tourism professionals and prepare them for entering the workforce by providing insights into the realities of the travel and tourism industry.
PYS welcomes both young professionals, students, and tourism professionals interested in strengthening the connection between education and industry.
PATA Student Chapters
PATA Student Chapters are ‘for students, by students.’ They are our most impactful platform for youth around the world to be change-makers and drive the responsible and sustainable development of the tourism industry alongside PATA.
PATA & PATA Network Events
Subject to sponsorship, members of student chapters and students from PATA’s member institutes will have an opportunity to join events organised by PATA or PATA members and partners fully or partially sponsored.

For future leaders in the global tourism industry.
Youths in the PATA Internship programme are from different nationalities and backgrounds around the world. Yet they have two things in common— a love for travel and a desire to learn.
Interns perform operational, support, and administrative tasks in various parts of the organisation. We provide on-the-job training with senior staff members, benefiting both the student and employer.
