Malaysia, 29th March 2022 - Taylor's School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events (SHTE) in collaboration with PATA Malaysia Chapter (PMC) and PATA Malaysia Taylor's Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) hosted its HEX Talk Tourism Series 2022 on 29 March 2022 where the tourism experts discussed the necessity and strategies of 'Rebranding Domestic Tourism'.

Malaysia, 27th September 2021 - In conjunction with the celebration of World Tourism Day with the theme “Tourism for Inclusive Growth”, PATA Malaysia Taylor's Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) collaborated with PATA Student Chapter Temasek Polytechnic Singapore, PATA Student Chapter Lombok, PATA Student Chapter Philippines Enderun and the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events (SHTE) organizing a virtual Forum on ‘Tourism in Post Pandemic Era’ on 27th September 2021.

Malaysia, 15th November 2021 - PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (MTSC) and the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events (SHTE) organised a forum on Budget 2022 and the Revival of Tourism Sector: Are we heading in the right direction? Last 15 November 2021.

Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 5th March 2021 - PATA Malaysia Taylor's Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) organized a virtual coffee session with PATA student chapters last 5th August 2021. The session aimed to build networking and collaboration among PATA student chapters. Previously they were connected through general PATA activities; however, this session provides them with an excellent opportunity to know each other more closely. This session was conduction via the zoom application.

Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 20th July 2021 - On Monday, PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) participated in the  First Leadership Coaching Session initiated by Mr. Jonathan Low (the CEO, Coach and Speaker of Global Success Learning Academy). This coaching session aimed to enhance the leadership skills of the committee members by recognizing their strengths and weakness.

Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 20th May 2021 - The School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events (SHTE), Taylor's University and PATA Malaysia Taylor's Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) organized their virtual HEX Talk Tourism entitled “Is Malaysia Ready for the 'Vaccine Passport?”. This virtual HEX talk aimed to share and highlight the public awareness and acceptance level of an eventual 'vaccine passport' initiative while discussing its impacts on the Hospitality and tourism industries.

Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 1st December 2020 - Recently, Taylor’s University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia Tourism Council via a video conference. This MoU was anchored by PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) last 1st December 2020. The MoU, namely strategic Partnership is aimed to provides a platform between Taylor’s University and Malaysia Tourism Council to exchange knowledge and skills in the teaching and learning process, build collaboration with research projects and support the internship placement to the students.

Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 31st October 2020 - PATA Malaysia Taylor's Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) organized the first virtual webinar on 'Sustainable Tourism and Rural Development' last 31st October 2020. The webinar aimed to introduce Rural Tourism and its contribution to Sustainable Tourism initiatives among tourism students. Dr Puvaneswaran Kunasekaran, a Senior Lecturer of the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events of Taylor's University, was invited as a guest speaker of this virtual event.
